영재들의 창의성을 증진시키기 위하여 다양한 관점에서 교수-학습방법 및 원리에 대한 연구들이 진행되어 왔다. 그러나 우리는 실제 영재교육 현장에서 효과적으로 적용시킬 수 있는 교수-학습방법이 무엇인지에 대한 모색이 필요하다. 이를 위해서는 무엇보다도 먼저 영재들의 특성 및 창의성의 요인과 영재교육을 위한 교과 영역별 창의적 사고기법을 파악하고, 각각의 기능을 향상시키기 위해 어떤 적절한 학습경험이 제공되어야 하며 어떤 교육적 노력이 필요한지를 알아야 하겠다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 효과적인 영재교육을 위하여 영재 창의성 교육프로그램 개발을 위한 전망과 제언을 하는데 목적을 두고, 창의적 영재의 특성, 영재를 위한 창의성 계발의 방향, 영재의 창의성 교육을 위한 교수-학습모형과 방법을 탐색하며, 영재 창의성 교육프로그램의 사례로 SIGT 영재 창의성 교육프로그램을 살펴보고 이를 분석함으로써 향후 우리나라 영재 창의성 교육이 어떻게 발전되어야 하는 지에 관해 논의한다.
Lots of studies about creativity from various points of view are studied for improving creativity of students. Even though there are so many instructional methods related with diverse subjects, it needs effective instructional model and education program for gifted students. Therefore we have to investigate the particular characteristics of gifted students and study the effective instructional methods and education program for improving the creativity of gifted students. In this study, I suggested an effective teaching model and creative education program for gifted students using the example of SIGT gifted creativity program. We should discuss the problems and perspectives about future gifted education and creativity education for gifted students.
