A Study of Po’s in Excavated Costume of Gwangju․Jeon-nam area

광주․전남지역의 출토유물은 2000년도 전까지만 해도 출토유물 수량이 다른 지역에 비해 적은 편이었다. 그러나 2000년도 장택고씨 고운 분묘 출토 이후 거의 매년귀중한 출토 분묘들이 발굴되고 있어. 지금은 다른 지역과 비교해도 출토유물 수량과그 종류도 꽤 많은 편이 되었다. 금번 연구에서는 다양한 출토유물 중 조선중기에 해당하는 59점의 포류 양식에 대해 살펴보았다. 총 출토포류로는 단령 3점, 직령은 12점이나 김덕령장군의 직령 2점은 정확한 것을 알 수 없어 총 10점, 철릭 14점, 창의 18점, 도포 1점, 답호 3점, 장옷 6점, 전복3점, 방령반비 1점으로 총 59점이다. 직령, 창의, 답호 등의 직령교임 형태의 깃모양의 형태를 띈 의복의 공통점은 깃형태, 소매형태, 섶, 무형태 등에서 공통적인 양상을 띄고 있었음을 알 수 있었다. 칼깃과 통수형소매, 이중섶, 옆막힘형과 옆트인형의 무형태 등에서도 시대적 공통적인 양상이 나타났다. 철릭의 주름너비와 상의 하상의 비율도 조선시대의 의복 특징을 잘 나타내었다. 가장 다량 출토된 창의류는 구성과 종류면에서 다양하였고 소매형태와 무의양식 면에서도 다양한 종류가 출토되었다. 그 외에도 방령반비나 전복 등도 있어 다양한 의복 종류가 있었다. 모든 포의 소매형태는 초기에서 후기로 갈수록 통수형에서 곡선화된 소매배래 형태가 나타나고 후기로 갈수록 두리소매로 변화되는 양식이다.

Before 2000, the number of excavated costumes from Gwangju․Jeon-nam area were fewer than excavated costumes from other region. However, Jang-teak Go's go-un tomb was excavated in 2000, and there are many relics that have excavated from the go-un tomb. As a result, the number and type of excavated costumes from Gwangju․Jeon-nam area has been increased. In this study, 59 relics from mid-Joseon were studied. Relics that were studied include 3 Darnryung, 14 Cheolrik, 18 Chanjui, 1Do-po, 3 Dap-ho, 6 Jangot, 3 Junbok, 1 Bangryung Banbi, and 12 Jikryung. Two costumes from Kim Duk ruing General are ambigous in its shape so are considered as Jinkrung. Sub and shape of collar, sleeve, and mu are the common features of Jinkyung-gyoim type of costumes such as Jikryung, Chanjui, and Dap-ho. Characteristic of Joseon period are revealed well in kal-kit, tongsu-shape sleeve,double sub, side-obstruct type, and side-open type of mu. The ratio between pleat width, upper jacket, and lower skirt in Cheolrik reveals the characteristic of costumes in Joseon. Excavated Chanjui have the most diverse kinds and constructions among other costumes. Other than the costumes mentioned above, there also are Bangryung Banbi and Junbok. As time went from early to late period of Joseon, Shape of sleeve was changed from straight sleeve berea to the curved sleeve berea and changed to duri sleeve in the late of Joseon dynasty.
