영암의 정화점 무녀는 각각의 굿 자료에서 조금씩 다른 무가 구연 양상을 보여주고 있다. 이 논문에서는 씻김굿에서 악곡 구성과 음악적 측면에서 무가의 구연 양상이 어떤 유동성을 갖고 변화되는지 음악적 측면을 집중적으로 살펴보았다. 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 악곡 구성의 측면에서 추가나 생략이 가능한 경우는 축원과 제액의 성격을 가진 삽입 악곡, 장면의 극대화를 위해 끼어든 삽입악곡이다. 삽입된 악곡의 경우에 생략될 수도 있고, 더 추가될 수도 있다는 것이다. 둘째, 악곡 구성의 확대를 통해 굿거리를 풍성하게 만드는 방법으로는 천근소리와 같은 필수 악곡의 반복, 굿거리 도입부와 정리부분에 창조를 추가하는 방법을 활용하고 있다. 특히 창조의 활용은 정화점 특유의 방법으로 생각된다. 셋째, 장단의 유동성은 주로 풀이계열의 악곡에서 나타났으며, 흘림↔살풀이, 흘림↔엇모리, 외장구장단↔자유리듬 등의 장단 교체가 나타났다. 씻김굿에서 풀이계열 악곡은 보통 흘림, 살풀이, 엇모리, 자유리듬, 그리고 형태적으로는 외장구와 외징거리로 구연된다. 따라서 위의 장단들은 서로 바뀔 수 있는 유동성을 지닌 것으로 생각된다. 이로써 무가 역시 일정한 음악 어법에 의해 선택적으로 운용된다는 점을 알 수 있다. 이 논문에서는 영암 정화점 무녀의 씻김굿 자료 네 가지를 중심으로 살펴보았다. 그러나 타지역과 타무녀의 경우에는 또 다른 양상이 나타날 수 있으므로 앞으로의 연구가 더 필요할 것으로 본다.
Youngam Jeonhwajeom shamaness shows different styles in the performance in each gut material. This article examined the musical aspect by focusing how the performance aspect of shaman songs changes with fluidity in terms of the song organization and music. The following are the result. Firstly, in terms of the song organization, where addition and omission is possible, it is the case of inserted song which has the characteristic of invocation and writing an inscription on a tablet in order to maximize a scene. In the case of inserted songs, it may be omitted or added. Secondly, the repetition of essential song such as Cheongunsori and addition changjo at the introduction part and concluding part of gutguri are used to enrich gutguri through the expansion of song organization. Thirdly, the fluidity of rhythmic structure is mainly shown in songs of pulli style: rhythms shifted from hullim↔salpulli, hullim↔utmori, uijanggu rhythm↔free rhythm, etc. Pulli style songs in sitgimgut are normally performed hullim, salpulli, utmori, free rhythm, and outwardly, uijanggu and uijingguri. As a result, the rhythmic structures above have the fluidity to interchange. This confirms that shaman song are operated selectively through consistent musical grammar. This article focused on four materials of Youngam Jeonghwajeom shamanness sitgimgut. However, with cases of other regions and shamanesses, there may be different phenomenon and they call for research in the future.
