Establishing Problem Items for the Epic of Self Test

이 논문에서는 부모가르기서사로부터 자녀감싸기서사에 이르는 열여섯 개 서사영역에서 각각 어느 수준의 어떠한 자기서사가 작동하고 있는지 알아낼 수 있는 자기서사진단검사도구의 문항들을 설정하였다. 문항설정은 피검자가 진단서사를 얼마나 저항 없이 잘 따라가는지를 측정하는 데 초점을 맞추었다. 하나의 진단서사에 대하여 세 지점에서 문항설정을 하였는데, 설정된 문항들은 대체로 네 가지 방향으로 전개되도록 하였다. 첫째는 진단서사의 흐름을 그대로 따라가는 방향의 문항, 둘째는 진단서사의 흐름과 반대로 가는 방향의 문항, 셋째는 대립하는 앞의 두 방향을 무화시키거나 또는 무관심한 방향의 문항, 넷째는 제시된 세 개의 방향 모두 마음에 들지 않는다는 문항 등이 그것이다. 이번 논의의 가장 중요한 성과는 자기서사의 열여섯 개 서사영역 각각을 진단할 수 있는 문항들이 구체적으로 설정되었다는 것이다. 문학치료학의 자기서사진단이론이 아무리 정교해도 실제로 진단검사를 실행하여 자기서사를 진단할 수 있는 문항들이 설정되어 있지 않으면 그 진단이론은 그림의 떡에 지나지 않을 것이다. 다음으로 중요한 성과는 진단서사의 세 지점에서 문항을 설정하여 서사의 갈림길을 열어 놓음으로써 진단서사가 안고 있는 핵심적인 문제의식을 다각도로 드러내었다는 것이다. 서사는 갈림길에서 당면한 문제를 논쟁적으로 성찰하고 선택을 결단한다는 당연한 사실을 구체적으로 실현한 셈이다. 또 하나 중요한 성과는 문항설정을 네 가지 방향으로 전개되도록 하는 과정에서 서사 전개의 논리를 개발하였다는 것이다. 서사는 서사 자체의 논리에 입각하여 전개되며, 논리의 방향을 바꾸면 다른 서사로 넘어가게 된다는 점을 분명하게 하면서, 장차 서사지도(敍事地圖)를 작성하는 데 필요한 발판 하나를 마련한 것이다.

The purpose of this paper is to establish problem items for the epic of self test. The results of this paper are as follows. First, the most important fruit of this paper is establishing problem items for the epic of self test in sixteen epic realms in order to know how easily testee follow the diagnostic epics. The diagnostic epics are wholesome epics. <The Liver of Son and Stepmother>(the epic of dividing parents), <Sun and Moon, Brother and Sister>(the epic of pushing parents), <My Own Good Fortune>(the epic of recovering parents), <Bridge and Mother>(the epic of protecting parents), <Whip and Virgin>(the epic of dividing the opposite sex), <Fox Jewel>(the epic of pushing the opposite sex), <Woman's Beauty and King's Counselling>(the epic of recovering the opposite sex), <Bathing with Beautiful Woman>(the epic of protecting the opposite sex), <Tears of Husband' Soul>(the epic of dividing mate), <Tiger's Eyebrows>(the epic of pushing mate), <A Centipede Woman>(the epic of recovering mate), <Generous Husband>(the epic of protecting mate), <Cow and Roof>(the epic of dividing children), <Young Son and Old Father>(the epic of pushing children), <A Firewood Seller and Borrowing a Good Fortune>(the epic of recovering children), <A Daughter-in-law Becomes a Mother-in-law>(the epic of protecting children) are those. Second, another important fruit of this paper is opening the forked road of epic by establishing problem items at three points of diagnostic epic and revealing the central issues of the diagnostic epic. Third, another important fruit of this paper is developing the logic of epic and preparing foothold for epic map.
