The purpose of this study was to suggest a new direction to improve the professionalism of Korean language teachers through reflection on their teaching. For this purpose, this study analysed literature teaching of the Korean language teacher for three months and the reflectional conversation based on the teaching criticisms group. The criticism for teaching reflection was made mainly on students' learning and teachers' insides. In the former case, the promotional mechanism was relationships with various conversations and the literature teaching related with students' lives. While in the latter case, understanding more about the teaching through reflectional conversation in teaching criticisms group and getting the experience of reflective self-examination in their teaching offered more effective results. The reflection on teaching based on teaching criticisms group would be a effective strategy for improvement of teaching professionalism when it accompanies voluntary participation by teachers and their awareness of colleagues.
