본 연구는 최근 정부정책에 맞추어 경력단절여성의 희망근로형태(시간제/전일제)에 영향을 미치는 재취업결정요인을 인적자원개발측면에서 고용·복지서비스를 위한 기초자료로 활용하고자 분석하였다. 첫째, 개인적 요인에서는 경력단절여성의 나이가 많을수록 시간제 근로형태를희망하고, 대졸이상의 고학력경력단절여성은 시간제 근로형태를 희망하는 것으로 유의미하게 나타났다. 둘째, 가족적 요인에서는 막내자녀연령이 ‘7세미만’의 경력단절여성만이 시간제 근로형태를 희망하는 것으로 유의미하게 나타났다. 셋째, 구조적 요인에서는 경제미활동사유의 경우 ‘가사부담’과 ‘본인 및 배우자 전출’을 선택한 집단은 시간제 근로형태를 희망하는 것으로 유의미하게 나타난 반면, ‘계약기간종료’와 ‘학업을 위해서’를 선택한 집단은 전일제 근로형태를 희망하는 것으로 유의미하게 나타났다. 그리고 사회적지지의 경우 사회적지지정도가 높을수록 전일제 근로형태를 희망하는 것으로 유의미하게 나타났다. 넷째, 취업활동요인에서는 취업장애요인의 경우 ‘가사 및 육아문제’를 선택한 집단은 시간제 근로형태를 희망하는 것으로 유의미하게 나타난 반면, ‘나이에 대한 사회적 편견’을 선택한 집단은 전일제 근로형태를 희망하는 것으로 유의미하게 나타났다. 그리고 직업의식의 경우 직업의식정도가 높을수록 전일제 근로형태를 희망하는 것으로 유의미하게 나타났다. 또한 취업능력정도의 경우는‘정보화 능력(컴퓨터 등)’과 ‘건강 및 체력’을 갖고 있을 때 전일제 근로형태를 희망하는 것으로 유의미하게 나타났다.
This study is aimed to find out the determinants of re-employment that influence types of work(Part-time/ Full-time) desired among women with career discontinuity and to establish base line data for employment and human services from the viewpoint of human resource development. Here, we showed several determinants significantly associated with types of work desired. First, as to personal factors, the older or the more educated subjects are, the more possibility they had to hope work in part time. Among the familial factors, subjects who have a youngest child aged of less than 7-years old had more possibility to hope to work in part-time. Regarding structural factors, those who answered the reasons why they have quit their jobs as either 'for burden on the household chore' or 'for relocation to a job of their husbands' tended to hope work in part-time while those who chose that reason as ‘for the completion of contracted period' or 'to study' or subjects having higher social support had more possibility to hope work in full-time. Among the factors related with job seeking activities, subjects who answered 'burden on household chore or children care' as their reason why they cannot be reemployed tended to prefer part-time job whiles those who chose 'social prejudice about age' preferred full-time. Also, those who had ’higher level of work ethic’, 'computer skills’ or ‘health and strength' preferred to hope work in full-time.
