여성 문제음주자들은 남성 문제음주자들과는 매우 다른 심리사회적 특성들을 가지고 있다. 여 성과 남성은 심리사회적으로 문제음주에 있어서 성차가 많다. 기존의 표준화된 개입 프로그램은 대부분 남성 문제음주 과정에 기반을 두고 있다. 개입 프로그램이 효과적이기 위해서는 문제음주를 둘러싼 여성의 심리사회적 특성들에 민감해야 한다. 이 논문은 여성의 특성을 반영한 사정 내용으로 구성된 개입 전 사정틀을 제시하고 있다. 사회복지사와 클라이언트 혹은 가족들은 사례연구 방법을 통하여 개입전 사정틀의 적용과정에 함께 참여하였다. 4사례연구 요약이 제시되었고, 이는 다시 8가지 범주로 좁혀졌다. 추천된 개입계획으로는 여성만으로 된 집단 프로그램, 예방 프로그램, 동기화 강화, 자기주장 훈련, 부모역할 훈련, 재발예방 그리고 아웃리치 등이다. 효과성 평가 기준 등도 또한 제시되었다. 연구자는 전문가 뿐만 아니라 지역사회 문지기 들이 사정결과를 근거로 한 성에 적절한 서비스를 제공하기 위해서 훈련 프로그램을 받을 필요가 있다고 제안하였다.


There are many gender differences in the psychosocial characteristics among problem drinking. Standard treatment program are based on male process of problem drinking. The treatment program to be effective, they must be sensitive to women's psychosocial characteristics surrounding the problem drinking. This article sets forth the pretreatment assessment framework which consists of women centered assessment contents. The social worker and clients(or family) work together in the application process of the pretreatment assessment framework through the case study method. Four case study summaries are illustrated and the eight categories are emerged out of the data. Recommended intervention planning includes women- only therapy groups, prevention program, motivational interviewing, assertion training, parenting, relapse prevention, and outreach etc. The evaluation outcomes are also Illustrated. The author suggested that the professionals as well as community gatekeepers need training program to provide services appropriate to gender difference based on the assessment result.
