이글은 천리마기수의 전형이 완성되는 과정을 고찰한 것이다. 생산능률성 외의 자질이 부과된 천리마기수는 이전의 노동영웅과 구별된다. 천리마시대 초기의 주인공은 전후복구건설의 주역들이었다. 선진일군이면서 공훈칭호를 받았던 노동영웅들은 사회주의낙원 건설과 통일을 지향하면서 능동적이고 자발적인 노동에의 열의를 보여주었다. 생산경쟁과 기술혁신이 부과된 이후에는 속도담론이 형성되었다. 이때의 주인공은 혁신자와 돌격대였다. 혁신자가 보수주의와 소극성과 대결하여 승리하는 중장년층이라면, 돌격대는 공산주의적 도덕으로 교양된 젊은이들이다. 본격적인 천리마시대로 진입하면서 천리마기수 전형론이 논의되었다. 전형이 된 천리마기수는 고상한 애국주의와 공산주의 도덕을 지닌 존재였다. 증산과 희생을 기본으로 한 천리마기수는 ‘모랄’로서 완성되었다. 이때 천리마기수 전형 형성에 촉매제가 된 것은 노동영웅 길확실이었다. 전후복구건설의 주역, 선진일군, 혁신자, 돌격대에서 천리마기수로 전형이 완성되기까지 북한 문학장은 내외적 환경과 역동적으로 조응하였다. 북한의 모든 매체, 모든 장에서 넘쳐흐르던 천리마의 서사는 시적 전형으로 완성되면서 영웅되기의 원형을 만들었다. 처녀 주인공의 영웅되기는 극적 효과를 자아내며 내면화 기제가 되었으며, 노동을 신화화 하는 노동영웅의 기본 형질이 되었다.
This paper explores the formation process of the typical Chollima rider or labor hero during the Chollima era. The Chollima rider must have other qualities besides labor productivity and is distinguished from the previous labor hero. During the early Chollima era, the main character was the driving force behind postwar reconstruction. Labor heroes were advanced workers or the holders of merit titles who showed zeal for active and spontaneous labor. They attempted to build a socialist paradise and reunify the country through creative labor and devoted struggle. Speed discourse was created from production emulation and technical innovation. The innovators and the shock brigade emerged as heroes of the speed campaign. The innovators were the middle- and mature-aged, while the shock brigade was made up of the young and educated who upheld communist morality. During the proper Chollima era, there was lively discussion of Chollima rider typification. The Chollima rider as a type was the key man for the great Chollima advance, with noble patriotism and a communist morality. The Chollima rider was completed as a moral through increased production and sacrifice for public good. Kil Hwack Sil, a representative labor hero of the Chollima era, became a catalyst for the typical Chollima rider. North Korean literature incorporated the internal and external environment, and when the rider type was solidified, it was based on the creators of the postwar period, advanced workers, innovators, and shock-brigades. The Chollima era’s narrative overflowed with various media, and the fields of North Korea made the hero prototype an accomplished poetic type. Mythologization of labor, which was considered sacred and honorable work, became the essence of a labor hero who was a man of new type.
