중국의 도덕교육은 품덕을 지닌 탐구적이며 적극적인 생활인을 기르고자 하는 것을 목표로 하여 4-5개의 영역을 구분하고 교육과정 내용을 상세화하여 내용표준을 제시하고 있다. 이에 근거하여 소학교에서는 저학년 「품덕과 생활」및 「픔덕과 사회」교과서를 검인정으로 발간하여 학교 도덕교육을 수행하고 있다. 중국 도덕교육이 우리에게 주는 시사점은 실용성 추구, 전통 윤리의 적극적 반영, 현대 사회의 변화 반영, 교과서 편찬의 자율성 등이다.
Moral education in China have tried to raise virtuous peoples with inquiry and positiveness. Moral education curriculum have four sphere and specified contents, so we called 'Contents Criterion'. Based on 'Contents Criterion', regional education authorities develop their own moral education textbooks. 1-2 grade in primary school of China have 'Virtue and Life' moral education textbook, 3-6 grade in primary school of China have 'Virtue and Society' moral education textbook. After analyses about Chinese moral deucation curriculum and moral education textbooks, I get some ideas that help our moral education. Some ideas are practice, rflection of traditional ethics, reflection of changes of modern society, autonomy of publishing moral textbooks.
