본 연구는 부산, 울산에 위치한 스포츠센터에서 스포츠 활동에 참가하는 스포츠센터 회원431명과 스포츠센터 종사자 230명을 대상으로 스포츠센터를 이용하는 소비자와 운영하는 공급자의 의식변인 간의 관계를 분석하기 위하여 소비자의 성별, 연령, 직업, 월 소득, 참가종목과 소비자의식요인 그리고 공급자의 근무부서, 계약형태, 근무 년 수와 공급자의식요인을 분석하여 스포츠센터를 효과적으로 운영하고 소비자와 공급자의 욕구와 특성을 파악할 수 있는 기초자료를 마련하고자 실시하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 첫째, 스포츠센터 소비자의 스포츠센터 이용에 대한 의식변인을 분석한 결과는 성별의 경우 남녀 모두 회원서비스와 시설만족요인에서 유의한 차이가 나타났으며, 연령별로는 지도자만족, 회원서비스, 시설만족의 3요인에서 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 또한 직업별로는 지도자만족요인에서 유의한 차이가 나타났고, 월소득별로는 회원서비스와 시설만족요인에서 나타났다. 그리고 참가종목별에서는 지도자만족과 시설만족의 요인에서 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 둘째, 스포츠센터 공급자의 스포츠센터 운영관리에 대한 의식변인을 분석한 결과는 근무부서에 따른 의식의 차이는 지도자의식 요인에서 유의한 차이가 나타났고, 근무계약형태에 따른 의식의 차이는 지도자의식, 근무만족, 시설만족의 요인에서 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 근무 년 수에 따른 의식 요인의 차이를 분석한 결과에서는 지도자의식, 회원관리능력, 근무만족, 시설만족의 4가지 요인모두에서 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았다.


This research was conducted to analyze the variables that may effect the relationship between suppliers and consumers of sports center so that sports centers can be managed more efficiently while providing more satisfaction to their customers. The subject included 431 sports center members and 230 sports center employees. The sports center member subjects were selected on the basis of sex, age, profession, income, participating sports, and personal view. The sports center employee subjects were selected on the basis of their duty, employment type, time span of employment, and personal view. To learn the difference in views of suppliers and customers, T, F test was conducted and it produced following result. First, the analysis revealed that both male and female consumers received their greatest satisfaction from high quality of their facility and service provided by sports center employees. Difference in subjects' age category produced additional cause of satisfaction from their personal trainers. As for difference in subjects' profession and income category, the cause of satisfaction remained the same as above. In the difference of participating sports category, the cause of satisfaction included personal trainers and high quality of facility. Secondly, the analysis on sports center employees produced disparity in level of job satisfaction and leadership quality according to their area of responsibility, employment span, and employment type. The employment span category did not produce any notable disparity in the level of job satisfaction, leadership quality, management skill and satisfaction with their facility.
