본 연구는 간호대학생의 임상수행능력의 영향요인을 규명하기 위해 시도된 서술적 조사연구이다. 연구대상자는 2학기 이상 임상실습 경험이 있는 간호대학생을 대상으로 하였으며 3개 지역에서 4년제 2개 대학과 3년제 1개 전문대학에 재학 중인 213명의 간호대학생을 대상으로 구조화된 설문지를 이용하여 이루어졌다. 자료 수집은 2013년 8월 31일부터 9월 15일까지 이루어졌다. 자료분석은 SPSS/WIN 18.0 통계프로그램을 이용하여 t-검정(t-test), 분산분석(ANOVA), Scheffẻ 다중비교(multiple comparison), Pearson 상관계수(correlation coefficient), 다중회귀분석(multiple regression analysis) 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과에서 임상수행능력은 평균 3.70점으로 중상위수준을 보였으며, 전문직 자아개념은 2.87점으로 의사소통, 전문직 실무, 만족감의 순이었다. 임상실습 만족도는 3.41점으로 실습교과, 실습환경, 실습시간, 실습지도, 실습내용, 실습평가의 순으로 만족감을 나타났다. 비판적 사고성향은 3.47점이었으며 지적정직, 신중성, 지적열정과 건전한 회의성, 객관성의 순으로 나타났다. 임상수행능력과의 상관관계는 전문직 자아개념, 임상실습 만족도, 비판적 사고성향과 정적 상관관계를 나타냈다. 간호대학생의 임상수행능력에 영향을 미치는 요인은 전문직 자아개념, 임상실습 만족도, 비판적 사고성향이었으며 총 설명력은 31.3%이었다. 이를 토대로 임상수행능력을 향상시키기 위한 교과과정의 개발과 임상실습환경을 개선하기 위한 전략이 필요하리라 사료된다.
The purpose of this study was to identify the influencing factors of professional self-concept, satisfaction for clinical practice, critical thinking disposition on clinical competency in nursing students. The participants in this study were 213 nursing students at three university. A survey was conducted from August 31 to November 15, 2013. Data were collected using structured questionnaires and analyzed by SPSS/PC+ 18.0 version. The data were analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, Scheffé test, Pearson correlation coefficients, and multiple regression analysis. The results of this study were positive correlations among clinical competency, professional self-concept, satisfaction for clinical practice and critical thinking disposition. The most effective factor for clinical competency was professional self-concept, followed by satisfaction for clinical practice. The total explanation of clinical competency was 31.3%. The results of this study indicate confirm that professional self-concept, satisfaction for clinical practice, critical thinking disposition have an effect on clinical competency in nursing students. Accordingly in order to improve clinical competency, it is necessary to provide practice environment and educational curriculum that enhance the clinical competency of nursing students.
