The aim of this study is to discuss the material development method for Korean as a foreign language(KFL) taught in secondary school. So far, most KFL studies have been focused on the education activities conducted by language institutes attached to domestic colleges and universities. Recently, several proposals have been made regarding the need for the establishment of teaching Korean for married migrant women and their children, but those studies were concentrating on young learners of early ages while the teenagers were out of the interests. However, teenagers of Korean language learners are increasing now, and some of special purpose high schools and meister high schools already have arranged the quota for foreign students separately. Therefore new Korean language learner's group of teenagers is in growth,and it means that the studies on those teenagers are required now. This study will be relatively early step to the teenaged learners of KFL in public education system.
