본 연구는 자녀의 인성지능발달에 어머니의 행동특성과 양육태도가 어떠한 영향을 미치는지에 대해서도 알아보고자 실시하였다. 이를 위해 어머니 행동유형 검사와 양육태도 검사, 유아 인성지능을 검사한 후, 그 결과를 상관분석과 분산분석을 통해 어머니 변인들과 유아의 인성지능에 대한 차이를 검증하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 어머니의 행동유형은 양육태도에 영향을 미치지 않았고 어머니의 양육태도와 인성지능과도 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 그러나 어머니의 행동유형에 따라 유아의 인성지능에는 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 특히, 상호작용적(I)행동유형을 가진 어머니의 유아가 가장 인성지능 발달이 잘 이루어진 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 유아의 인성지능발달은 어머니의 양육태도 보다는 행동특성에 따라 직접 영향을 받고 있으며 상호작용형의 행동특성에 따른 부모교육 및 유아인성지능 프로그램의 개발이 필요하다고 할 수 있다.


This study is aimed to examine the relationship between mother’s DISC behavior and parenting styles, and child’s personal intelligence. As analysis is proceeded, relationships between child’s personal intelligence and mother’s behavior and parenting styles was researched. Children’s personal intelligence test by teachers and behavior styles and parenting style test for mothers were carried out. Through correlative and dispersive analysis, distinctive relationship between maternal factor and child’s personal intelligence was verified. The results of analysis are as followings: 1) There is a no significant level between mother's behavior styles and mother's parenting styles.; 2) there is no significant level between mother's parenting styles and children's personal intelligence; 3) There is a significant level between mother's behavior styles and children's personal intelligence. That is, with a mother of interactive (I) type, a child has most developed personal intelligence. Therefore, to stimulate children's personal intelligence development, education for parents based on maternal behavior and improvement on personal intelligence developing program for children are on demand.
