본 연구에서는 글로벌 경기침체에 대한 우려가 증폭되고 있는 현 상황에서 한국경제를 둘러싼 대외 위험요인이 한국경제의 성장, 수출, 물가 등 거시경제변수에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 그 결과, 그동안 한국경제의 성장 동력이었던 수출은 물론 내수마저 침체되고 있는 가운데 이른바 뉴 노멀(New Normal)이 구체적으로 나타나고 있었다. 그런데 이러한 한국경제의 침체가 근원적으로는 글로벌 자본주의 경제 고유의 불확실성과 변동성에서 유래된 것인 만큼 글로벌 정책 공조 등을 통해 머지않은 장래에 회복되겠지만, 현존하는 대외 위험요인 때문에 짧은 시간 안에 회복되기는 어려울 것으로 전망되고, 완전히 회복되더라도 글로벌 경제의 생리상 언제든지 또 다시 침체에 빠질 수 있다고 판단된다. 따라서 이러한 분석과 전망은 객관적인 입장을 견지하려는 교과서와 수학능력시험 위주의 현행 경제교육의 외연을 교육현장에서부터 확장하여 그야말로 청소년들이 경제적 사고력과 문제해결능력을 배양할 수 있도록 발견학습 차원에서 글로벌 및 한국경제의 불확실성과 변동성, 뉴 노멀, 내수경제의 중요성, 자본주의의 발전단계와 변모 가능성, 양적완화, 소프트웨어를 이용한 지능형 공장에서 고객맞춤형 제품을 개발ㆍ생산하는 ‘4차 산업혁명’의 도래 등을 교육할 필요가 있다는 점을 시사하고 있다.
In the present situation, in which concerns over the global economic slump are becoming amplified, this study regarded the rise in federal interest rate of the USA, slowdown of China's growth and low oil price as foreign risk factors surrounded Korean economy, and investigated the effects of those factors on the macroeconomic variables such as growth, export and price of Korean economy. As a result, this study found that export, which has been growth engines for Korean economy, was considerably unstable and domestic demand also stagnant; consequently, phenomena symbolizing 'New Normal' that is, low growth, low price, low interest rate and increasing debts of the state, governments, public sectors, households and companiesappeared specifically. The analysis and check result imply that it is necessary to expand textbook sticking to an objective result and extension of scholastic ability test-oriented economic education from educational practice, so to educate uncertainty and variability of the global and Korean economy, new-normal, importance of the domestic economy, quantitative easing and by schools, development stage and transfiguration possibility of capitalism, and introduction of ‘the Fourth Industrial Revolution’ developing and producing a customized product in an intelligent plant using software as a heuristic method to make youth develop economic thinking skills and problem solving skills.
