본 연구는 부모와 유아교사를 대상으로 교육공동체로서 유아교육기관에 대한 인식을 측정하는 도구를 개발하기 위해 수행되었다. 유아교육공동체 인식 척도의 문항을 구성하기 위하여 이론적 검토와 전문가 논의를 통하여 총 24개 문항의 척도 시안을 1차 개발하였으며, 내용타당도를 검토하여 2차 시안을 개발하였다. 이를 유아교사 243명, 유아기 자녀를 둔 부모209명, 총 452명에게 실시하였고 수집된 자료에 대해 탐색적 요인분석과 확인적 요인분석을실시하였다. 요인분석 결과, ‘동반자 의식’과 ‘핵심가치 공유’와 같은 2개 하위요인이 추출되었으며, 각각 8개 및 9개 문항으로 구성되었다. Cronbach’s α 계수를 통해 척도의 신뢰도를살펴본 결과, 적절한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 문항양호도를 검토할 수 있는 문항반응분포와문항변별도를 살펴본 결과, 양호한 것으로 나타나 본 척도는 유아교육공동체 인식을 측정하는데 적절한 척도임을 알 수 있었다. 이를 토대로 본 연구의 시사점과 제한점 및 추후 연구방향을 논의하였다.


The purpose of this study was to develop a scale for awareness of early childhood educational community for the parents and teacher. A primary draft of the scale that consisted of 24 items was developed after analyzing related theories and having a discussion with experts, and a secondary draft was developed after the content validity of the primary one was checked. 452 selected people who were 243 early childhood teachers and 209 parents of young children were investigated using the scale, and exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis were made to analyze the collected data. As a result of making the factor analyses, two sub-factors that were ‘partnership’ and ‘shared core values’ were selected, and eight and nine items were allocated to the two respectively. When the reliability of the scale was evaluated by calculating Cronbach’s α coefficients, the scale turned out reliable. In addition, distribution of item response and item discrimination were measured to evaluate item quality, and the scale turned out to be good in that regard. Therefore this scale could be said as one of good scales to analyze the awareness of the parents of young children and early childhood teacher about educational community. The implications, limitations, and future suggestions were also discussed.
