본 연구의 목적은 예비유아교사가 교육실습을 통하여 경험하는 주된 활동과 직무를 분석하고 이에 따른 예비유아교사의 정서를 탐색하는 데 있다. 교육실습 분석에 관한 기존 연구의 단점을 보완하기 위하여 본 연구는 경험표집법을 활용하였다. 교육실습에 참여하는 3년제 유아교육과 학생 94명이 연구에 참여하여 4주간의 실습기간 동안 총 1862개의 경험을 표집하였다. 경험기록지에는 예비유아교사의 주된 활동과 활동에 따른 정서가 조사되었으며, 수집된 자료를 바탕으로 예비유아교사의 활동을 유치원 교사의 직무 분석에 따라 분류하였다. 연구 결과, 예비유아교사는 유치원 교사의 직무 10개 영역 중 특정 업무(교수학습 실제, 교수학습 준비, 교수학습 평가)를 중점적으로 경험하였으며, 전혀 경험하지 못하거나 매우 적게 경험하는 직무도 다수 나타났다. 예비유아교사의 교육실습에 대한 정서는 상대적으로 긍정적 정서가 부정적 정서보다는 높았으나, 긍정적 정서 역시 높게 나타나지 않았다. 예비유아교사가 느끼는 부정적 정서의 종류는 직무에 따라 다르게 나타나 직무에 따른 예비유아교사의 정서를 이해하려는 노력이 요구된다.
Practicum, which is the essential course to become a kindergarten teacher, affect pre-kindergarten teachers to apply what they have learned at class to real settings. Previous studies have investigated contents and effects of practicum and suggested how practicum should be improved. However, they had missed what pre-kindergarten teachers go through in real and how they feel in the middle of various jobs they have in the practicum. Therefore, this study figured out what pre-kindergarten teachers do and how they feel according to the jobs they take part in the practicum. Results showed that jobs of pre-kindergarten teachers in their practicum was not enough to cover all ten job categories. They mainly participated in ‘practice of teaching’, ‘preparation for teaching’, and ‘assessment of teaching’. However, some jobs such as ‘tasks related to parents’ and ‘tasks related to facilities’ were hardly learned through their practicum. It means that pre-service teachers’ experience were not enough to know the real kindergarten teachers' job. Secondly, pre-kindergarten teachers felt neither negative nor positive emotions during the practicum. Even though they have little negative emotions, their positive emotions were not high enough. Positivity could create more effective and productive results in general. So, the practicum has to find out how it can fulfill the pre-kindergarten teachers' energetic, passionate, and excited partaking to make maximum outcomes of the practicum.
