본 연구에서는 세계무대에서 영향력이 점차 커져가고 있는 재외동포기업(이하 한 상기업)들의 인력수요에 대한 니즈를 조사하고 이를 대학교육과 연계함으로써 글로 벌 시대에 부합하는 인재양성의 필요성이 증가하고 있는 국내 대학들의 교과과정 개선 등의 노력을 위한 시사점을 제공하고자 한다. 이를 위해 세계한상기업들의 현 황, 역할과 기능들에 대해 구체적으로 살펴보고, 한상기업들을 대상으로 한 교육니 즈조사를 실시하였다. 연구결과와 시사점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 해외교포기업이 사원채용 시 중요하게 생각하는 요인은 기본능력 부문으 로서 외국어능력, 의사표현력, 해당지역에 대한 이해 등으로 나타났다. 둘째, 대학 에서 실시하고 있는 교육과정에 대하여 외국어 부문에서는 만족하는 수준으로 나타 났고, 해당지역관련 지식과 무역실무분야 등에 대해서는 만족하지 못하고 있는 것 으로 나타났다. 셋째, 국제통상과 지역계열의 융합형 교과에 대한 호감도는 매우 긍정적으로 나타났으며, 추가적으로 회계관리능력, 무역실무능력 및 중국어, 일본어 등 제2외국어 부문에 대한 준비가 필요하다고 응답하였다. 마지막으로, 대학생 인 턴십에 관한 해외교포기업 수요조사 결과 국제경영지식, 재무회계능력, 마케팅관리 능력, 외국어능력 및 의사표현력, 컴퓨터활용능력 등을 기대하는 것으로 나타났다.


The objective of this study is to suggest implementations for curriculum improvement of Korean university who needs to global human resource cultivation. To do this, this research investigates the needs for human resources of Hansang(World Korean Business) Companies and relate the results to university education. More specifically, this study investigates the present states, roles, and functions of World Hansang Companies. The findings and implementations are as follows. The first, when Hansang Companies employ new employees, basic abilities are accounted like foreign languages, presentation skills, and understanding on their region. Second, degree of satisfaction about a course of university education, they express their satisfaction with foreign language education, but they are not satisfied with regional knowledge and trade practice. Third, degree of goodwill about merger curriculum of international business and area study. In addition, preparations for accounting skills, trade practice skills, and second foreign language skills like Chinese and Japanese are needed. Finally, we investigate the demands for university student internship. Hansang Companies count on the abilities to international management, financial accounting, marketing management, foreign language, presentation, and computer utilization. The conclusions discuss managerial implications and limitations, and suggest several future research directions.
