This study aims to provide fundamental data to improve childbirth intention of dual-earner married women. Survey was conducted on dual-earner married women of childbearing age located in Jeonllabukdo and 428 questionnaires were used for data analysis. Frequency analysis, T-test, Anova, correlation analysis, path analysis were used as analysis methods. Research result is as follows; First, The influence of independent variables on ideal number of children is examined. age and parent support have a direct and indirect influence on ideal number of children. And then employment type(regular) and couple's share of nurture have an indirect influence on ideal number of children. Second, the influence of parameters on ideal number of children is examined. Neighbors preference of multi-child birth has a indirect influence on ideal number of children. And then own values of children has a direct influence on ideal number of children. On the basis of above analysis result, it discussed helpful plan in improving childbirth intention of married working women has been attempted.
