‘범주강삼각주 경제권’은 지역특성에 따른 상호 보완체계 확립과 산업구조의 재배치 그리고 단일시장체제 형성을 통한 경제통합을 추구하고 있다. ‘범주강삼각주 경제권’의 이러한 전략은 이 지역이 체제를 달리하는 두 지역, 즉 사회주의 체제를 견지하고 있는 중국과 자본주의 제도를 실시하는 홍콩·마카오지역으로 나뉘어져 있을 뿐만 아니라 중국이 추진하고 있는 지방분권화 등으로 인해 통합 발전의 한계를 가지고 있다. 그러나 ‘범주강삼각주 경제권’은 구성 지역들 상호간에 경제적 보완성을 갖고 있고, 또 협력에 대한 지역 정부들의 적극적 호응으로 발전의 가능성이 크다. 한편 ‘범주강삼각주 경제권’은 중국 남부의 동부, 중부, 서부지역을 모두 포함하고 있기 때문에 상호 보완성을 기초로 발전할 경우, 중국경제의 가장 큰 문제로 지적되고 있는 지역발전 격차를 해소시킬 것이다. 또한 그동안 중국 경제발전의 핵심적 역할을 해온 주강삼각주 지역의 발전 전략에도 변화도 예상된다. 즉 주강삼각주 지역은 그동안 해외에 의존한 외향형 발전전략을 추진해 왔으나, 향후에는 ‘범주강삼각주 경제권’의 형성으로 내륙지향형 발전이 예상된다. 따라서 중국경제에 대한 의존도가 날로 심화되고 있는 우리나라의 입장에서는 ‘범주강삼각주 경제권’의 발전 추이를 예의 주시하며 대응책을 마련할 필요가 있다.
The Plan of the Pan-Pearl River Delta is pursuing economic integration through establishing a complementary system, the industrial structure relocation and the single market system. This strategy of Pan-Pearl River Delta is limited in development of economic integration, because China has different political system from Hongkong and Macao, that is China is the socialist system and Hongkong and Macao are capitalist system. Moreover, China has the limit of its economic development because of the decentralization policy but the Pan-Pearl River Delta seems to be anticipated economic development. Because configuration areas have complementarities and the active followers of the local government for the cooperation. On the other hand, because the Pan-Pearl River Delta includes eastern, central and western regions of southern China, it would bridge the regional gap problem pointed out as the biggest problem of the regional economy in case of developing on the basis of the mutual complementarity . In addition, the development of the Pearl River Delta region is also expected to such a great extent. In other words, while the Pearl River Delta has a strategy related on overseas development, in the future, the economy of the Pan-Pearl River Delta will depends on inland-oriented development. Therefore Korea, who has an ever-deepening dependence on the Chinese economy, has to keep on eye on the trend of the development of the Pan-Pearl River Delta and needs to develop efficient countermeasures.
