This study aims at exploring the difference of major attribute by nationality when choosing hotels. To prove the hypotheses we set if there were any group differences between Japanese and Koreans according to the major attribute of choosing hotels, we made dispersion analyses, along with the reliability of the factor variables.To analyze the data, we used 371 responses out of 429 distributed questionnaire responses except no responses and unfaithful answers from deluxe hotels in Busan.The following is important results from the analyzed data:There was statistically significant difference between groups of Korean and Japanese guest one factor of hotel choice which is hotel function. However, four factors of hotel choice which are hotel cleanliness, geographic condition, hotel service, hotel price showed no differences between the two groups.Therefore, managers of hotel industry have to pursue to adopt differentiated marketing strategies in consideration of the difference in major factor of choosing hotel by different nationality.
