본 연구는 무자격 관광통역안내사 증가의 현황 및 원인을 분석한 연구이다. 관광통역안내사 자격증을 소지하고 있을 것이라 예상되는 일반여행업 종사자들을 대상으로 설문을 통해 관광통역업무 경험, 고용형태, 회사의 규모, 자격증 취득 의향 여부, 자격증 유무, 월 평균 소득 등을 분석하였다. 분석결과에 따르면 성별은 여성, 연령대는 30~40세, 관광통역업무 경험 기간 3~7년, 고용형태는 파트타임, 관광통역안내사 자격증 유무는 유, 관광통역안내사 자격증 취득 의향은 유로 각각에서 가장 높게 나타난 실태를 보였다. 수입이 일정하지 않은 파트타임으로 활동하고 있는 관광통역안내사의 비중이 높고 고용형태불안으로 인해 자격증을 취득하여도 만족도가 높지 않다는 것이 확인되었다. 다만 이는 이번 연구의 대상이 중국인 관광통역안내사 현황분석이기 때문인 것도 부분적인 원인이라 할 수 있다.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the status and an increase cause in unqualified tourist guide. This study researches work experience, employment type, the size of the company, willingness of certification, certification status, the average monthly income through the survey of a general tour guide who are expected to have certification. The results show that gender is female, ages 30-40 years, tour work experience 3-7 years, the type of employment is part-time, holding certification, willingness of certification is high. The results also show that tour guide income is not high and it confirmed that part-time employees do not have job satisfaction due to employment insecurity. However the cause of these results are the partial reason that Chinese tourists is targeted for survey
