본 연구의 목적은 특수교육지원센터 사례관리자의 역할을 결정하는 요인을 탐색하고 역할 수행에 영향을 미치는 요인을 알아보는 데 있다. 연구 대상은 전국 특수교육지원센터에 근무하는 사례관리자 170명으로 하였다. 이들을 대상으로 설문과 심층면담을 실시한 다음 요인분석과 회귀분석을 실시하였으며, 면담내용은 전사자료를 토대로 분석 정리하였다. 이와 같은 절차와 방법을 통하여 나타난 결과를 요약 정리하면 다음과 같다. 먼저, 사례관리자의 역할결정요인을 직무관련 요인, 기관 및 조직관련 요인 그리고 개인관련 요인으로 구분 하여 알아본 결과 첫째, 직무관련 요인에서는 역할인식, 역할수행, 업무특성, 업무수행능력, 업무여건, 그리고 업무인식 등이 역할 결정에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 확인 되었다. 둘째, 기관 및 조직관련 요인에서는 기관지지, 기관풍토 그리고 기관특성 등이 영향을 미치는 요인으로 확인되었으며, 셋째, 개인관련 요인에서는 자기 효능감, 전문성, 업무자신감 성취동기 등이 영향을 미치는 요인으로 확인 되었다. 다음으로, 사례관리자의 역할 수행에 영향을 미치는 요인은 역할 수행, 업무수행능력, 업무인식,업무여건,기관지지,기관풍토,기관특성,전문성, 업무책임감 및 성취동기 등으로 나타났다.


The purpose of this study was to examine the explanatory factors of case manager roles in special education support centers by making a factor analysis among the subfactors of three selected dimensions that were expected to explain case manager roles on the assumption that there would be a clear distinction among the three dimensions. The subjects in this study were 170 case managers who worked in special education support centers in our country. A survey was carried out to find out the relationship of the factors affecting job performance. The major findings of the study were as follows:As a result of investigating the influential factors of case manager role determination, role awareness, role performance, job characteristics, job performance skills, working conditions and job awareness were identified as the influential factors out of the job-related factors. Among the institutional and organizational factors, support from the institutions, the climate of the institutions and the characteristics of the institutions turned out to be the influential factors. In terms of the personal factors, self-efficacy, professionalism, job confidence and achievement motivation were found to be the influential factors. When a multiple regression analysis was conducted to grasp the factors affecting the job performance of the case managers, job confidence, the characteristics of the institutions, self-efficacy and role awareness were identified as the significant explanatory factors in terms of educational support. Self-efficacy, working conditions, professionalism, job awareness and the characteristics of the institutions were found to be the significant explanatory factors in terms of educational service. The climate of the institutions, support from the institutions, role awareness, professionalism and job performance skills turned out to be the significant explanatory factors in terms of vocational career guidance. The characteristics of the institutions, professionalism and job awareness were identified as the significant explanatory factors in terms of related services.
