이 논문은 리꾀르의 이야기적 정체성 이론을 소그룹 성경공부에 적용하기 위한 교수학적 이론형성을 목적한다. 리꾀르는 자아와 타자간의 반성적이고 해석적인 활동을 통하여 인간이 자아이해에 이를 수 있다고 한다. 해석으로서의 정체성은 다른 이들과 다른 이야기들과의 상호작용을 통한 반성의 결과이다. 그의 이야기적 정체성 개념은 성경본문과 독자사이의 의사소통적 관계를 이해하는데 유용하다. 이야기적 정체성은 본문의 세계와 독자의 세계 사이의 상호작용에 의해 형성된다. 이 해석적 과정을 리꾀르는 선구성-구성-재구성의 이야기적 구조로서 설명한다. 리꾀르는 이야기, 즉 본문의 언어들이 우리의 삶의 행동으로 옮겨져 우리의 삶을 위한 실천적 제안과 가능성들을 제공할 수 있는 해석의 길을 찾고자 하였다. 특히 성경본문의 해석에 있어서 증거의 개념을 사용함으로 성경의 권위의 의미와 독자의 실천의 중요성을 설명한다. 리꾀르의 이야기 해석학은 소그룹 성경공부를 통하여 자아정체성을 재구성하고자 하는 참가자들에게 성경과 자신, 타자간의 해석적 과정을 통한 풍성한 가능성을 제공한다. 그룹은 정체성 형성을 위한 교육의 장으로서 타자와의 만남을 제공하고, 해석의 공동체로서 개인의 해석을 점검하고, 타자들의 다양한 해석을 듣게 한다. 소그룹 성경공부에서 인도자는 그룹 속에서 정체성을 찾아가는 신앙여정의 동반자로서 함께 대화하는 파트너이면서 동시에, 신학자이자, 영적 안내자로서 개개인의 다양한 정체성 재구성 작업을 격려한다. 본 논문은 성경연구를 통해 기독인의 정체성이 형성되는 과정을 리꾀르의 이야기적 정체성이론과 그 교육의 장으로서 소그룹 성경공부라는 한 방법을 연결함으로 설명하였다.
This article aims to form Bible-didactical theory to apply the theory of Ricoeur's narrative identity to Bible study in a small group. Ricoeur's understanding of the self is that a human being can understand one's own self through the reflective and interpretative activities of others. This identity as interpretation is the outcome of reflection through interaction with other people and other narratives. The concept of narrative identity is useful for understanding the communicative relation among the Bible texts and its writers and readers or hearers. Narrative identity is formed by the interaction between the world of the text and the world of the reader. This interpretative process is represented as 'narrative arc' that moves from prefiguration through configuration to refiguration. Through these hermeneutical phases, readers or participants of the Bible study get the practical proposals or possibilities for their own lives. Ricoeur's hermeneutic of testimony helps the Korean church as a hermeneutic community to accept the differences among the various (personally applied) interpretations and to cooperate with hope from the biblical testimonies, and to form its own attestation. In relation to Christians' identity, this hermeneutics offers rich possibilities in the process of shaping their identity through Bible study. Especially in the group situation they can learn each other with the Bible. Group functions as an educational environment. In this identity formation process through the Bible study, a leader plays a role as a companion making a journey with other participants in the group. At the same time the leader takes a role as leading learner who is a theologian and spiritual guide.
