Subjects selected for this study were obese middle-aged women aged between 35 and 45 with a BMI of 25 to 30. The subjects were divided into three groups; obese group with no influence of gene mutation, b3 adrenergic receptor gene mutation group and group with two kinds of gene mutations including b3 adrenergic receptor (b3-Ar) and PPAR-g. This study conducted the treadmill walking test on each group at 40~50% HR max ·50~60% HR max and 60~70% HR max about 80 minutes respectively, using a Latin Square design in order to examine the changes in Leptin, Insulin and Plasma LDH & CPK, intending to establish the optimal exercise intensity by cause according to gene type of obesity. The main results of this study were as follow: The Leptin, Insulin, LDH, CPK level showed significant differences in exercise period (p<.001), and also in interaction between exercise period and group (p<.01). The regardless of types and existence of genes and variation of strength of exercise, the walking which is representative of aerobic exercise can solve and protect the obesity.
