This paper focuses on the relationship between thermal environment and thermal acceptability based on complaints. Thermal environment factors and occupants complaints were measured by 'thermal complaints voting device' fabricated for this study on each work station in eight offices in summer. The key results are that each hot complaints and cold complaints occurred in a wide range of temperature than we expected and there was an overlap between temperature of hot and cold complaints. As a temperature range occupants experienced in their office was broader, there was more distinction of average and midium between cold and hot complaints. Also, when occupants less complained, they had higher thermal satisfaction and self-assessed productivity
