This study examines the issues on the core competencies and regulations for educational purposes in 2015 revised curriculum. For this purpose, It discussed the relationship between core competencies and 2015 revised curriculum, identify the position of the core competencies in educational purposes, and some issues related to the core competencies in 2015 revised curriculum. As a result of the discussion, some issues associated with core competencies are the status in educational purpose system, the relationship between guideline and subject matters, and the method of teaching․learning and evaluation in reconstruction of competency-based curriculum.
