EU reinforces the liberalization of trade among the member countries one hand and, on the other hand, the imports restricting measures against the other countries. In 2004, the antidumping tariff(AD) and countervailing duties(CVD) measures of EU were applied in rapid increase, and the imports inspection systems were also reinforced to the iron industry and the textiles industry. The trade balance surplus of Korea to EU is increasing since 1998. Korea, filed with 11 AD cases and 1 CVD case in July 2005 at present, is regarded as a major counter-party of the EU imports restriction policy. In case study of the 3 major products filed, this paper aims to confirm a remarkable tendency of EU domestic market protection policies. In order to correspond to this tendency, Korea is recommended to strengthen the information system to deeply analyse each filing case by product, the professional manpower cooperation network, the rational logic to refute the ambiguous allegation of the complaints, the common reaction strategies of the smaller minor firms concerned.
