본 연구는 창업가의 특성에 따른 컨벤션 참가 목적이 만족도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구를 실증적으로 분석하였으며, 컨벤션 참관객 창업자 대상으로 하여 창업자의 특성, 참가목적, 만족의 설문을 통하여 실증적 분석을 하였다. 실증조사는 설문문항의 타당성과 신뢰성을 검증하기 위해 예비조사를 수행하였으며, 검증된 후 본 조사를 실시하였다. 선형회귀분석을 실시하여 리더십에 대한 회귀분석결과 심리적 특성, 컨벤션 참가횟수, 제조업, 유통업에서 영향이 있는 것으로 나타났고, 네트워킹교육 대한 회귀분석결과 성별, 연력, 학력, 제조업, 유통업이 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며 전문지식에 대한 회귀분석결과 배경적 특성, 심리적 특성, 창업연수, 제조업, 유통업, 사회사업이 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 속성, 효익에 대한 회귀분석결과 네트워킹교육, 전문지식, 성별, 연령, 종업원 수, 유통업이 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 가치에 대한 회귀분석결과 리더십, 네트워킹교육, 연령, 창업연수, 종업원 수, 컨벤션 참가횟수, 유통업, 사회사업이 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 재참가의사에 대한 회귀분석결과 리더십, 네트워킹 교육, 전문지식, 연령, 학력, 창업연수, 종업원 수, 유통업, 사회사업이 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
