본 연구는 중·고등학생들을 대상으로 도덕판단력과 인권태도와의 관계에서 공고화 발달국면의 조절효과를 검증하기 위하여, 도덕판단력(N2, P)과 인권태도와의 관계를 분석하고, 인습이후 최빈도식 유형이 규범준수 및 개인관심 최빈도식 유형들보다 인권태도가 높은지와, 인습이후 최빈도식 유형 중에서 공고화 유형이 이행 유형보다 인권태도 점수가 더 높은 조절효과를 나타내는지 분석하고자 하였다. 연구대상은 중학생 362명, 고등학생 331명, 총 693명이었다(남학생 362명, 여학생 331명). 측정도구는 도덕판단력 검사 DIT 간편형(1988, 1994)과 Getz(1985)의 ATHRI를 수정한 인권태도검사를 사용하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 중·고등학생의 도덕판단력(N2, P)은 인권태도와 유의한 정적 관련성이 있었다. 둘째, 고등학생의 경우에는 인습이후 최빈도식 유형(유형6과 7)이 개인관심 최빈도식 유형(유형1과 2)이나 규범준수 최빈도식 유형(유형3, 4, 5)보다 인권태도 점수가 높게 나타났으나, 중학생의 경우에는 최빈도식 유형에 따라 인권태도에 차이가 없었다. 셋째, 중·고등학생에서 인습이후 최빈도식 유형 중 공고화 유형(유형 7)이 이행 유형(유형6)보다 인권태도가 더 높게 나타났다. 결론적으로, 중·고등학생의 도덕판단력은 인권태도와 유의한 관련성이 있으며, 인습이후 도식을 최빈도식으로 사용하는 공고화 국면에서 인권태도가 더 높은 조절효과를 미친다는 것이 검증되었다.
The purpose of this study was to verify the moderate effect of the consolidation phase in the relationship of moral judgment measured by KDIT and attitudes toward human rights among middle and high school students. Study problems were as follows. What is the relationship of moral judgment and attitudes toward human rights? Attitudes toward human rights of the types of postconventional modal schema are higher than the ones of the types of personal interests or maintaining norms modal schema? For the types of postconventional modal schema, attitudes toward human rights of the consolidated type 7 are higher than the ones of the transitional type 6? The sample were 362 middle school students and 331 high school students, total 693(362 male, 331 female). KDIT short form and revised Getz(1985)'s ATHRI were used as measurement instruments. Study results were as follows. First, moral judgment(N2, P) was significantly related with attitudes toward human rights among middle and high school students. Second, for high school students, attitudes toward human rights of the types of postconventional modal schema were highest, whereas for middle school students, attitudes toward human rights were not different by three modal schema. Third, for the types of postconventional modal schema, attitudes toward human rights of the consolidated type 7 were higher than the ones of the transitional type 6. In conclusion, the moral judgment of the middle and high school students has significant relationship with the attitudes toward human rights, and has stronger effect in the consolidated phase.
