본 연구의 목적은 점차 확대되고 다양화 되는 우리나라의 주거복지, 특히 공공임대주택정책의 현실을 반영하여 우리나라 사회복지계의 공공임대주택정책에 대한 대응을 검토하고 과제를 제시하고자하는 것이다. 우리나라의 공공임대주택은 노태우 정부의 영구임대주택을 시작으로 김대중 정부와 노무현 정부를 거치면서 그 유형이 다양화 되고 그 규모가 늘어 새로운 주거복지의 영역을 확대해 왔다. 또한 공공임대주택 지역에는 많은 사회문제가 나타나고 사회복지관이 설치되는 등 기존 사회복지계에도 중요한 영향을 미치고 있다고 할 수 있다. 그러나 우리나라 사회복지계의 공공임대주택정책 확대에 대한 대응은 이에 부합하지 못한 것이었다. 따라서 결론에서는 이를 극복하기위한 사회복지현장과 사회복지(학)교육계의 과제를 제시하였다.
The purpose of this study is to examine public housing policy and propose housing welfare tasks in the existed social welfare area in korea. In past governments period, there were various kinds of pubic housing policy including 'Permanent Rented Housing' and 'National Rented Housing'. The quantity of public housing has enlarged. So the influence of housing welfare policy on the existed social welfare is enlarged too. But the Interest of housing welfare in social welfare area has been ignored until now. Conclusively, the approaches of housing welfare is need in existed the social welfare agencies, academics and education.
