In this thesis, I aim at investigation at the background and the aspect of a classical chinese translation in the Poetry of translating Gwandong-byeolgok into a classical chinese by Bak Chang-Won. The result as follow. The Background of Classical Chinese Translation : The Background is author's attempt to reveal his capacity of scholarship and literature. Bak Chang-Won's social position is the middle class. And so he tries to reveal his capacity in order to cope with his social position though translating Gwandong-byeolgok into classical chinese. The Aspect of Classical Chinese Translation : The first Aspect is that the speaker's emotion at the scenery is weakened and the dynamic features of the scenery is changed into passive features. The second Aspect is that the predicate in connection with the speak's deed and emotion, the predicate in connection with the state of an object, the adverb in connection with the style are added. In result, the poetry of translating into classical chinese maintains the primarily meaning in the original text.
