이 硏究는 현재 국립국어원 누리 세종학당에서 한국어 학습자에게 제공하고 있는 멀티미디어 한국어 교육용 자료 개발 現況에 대해 살펴보고, 向後 과제에 대한 巨視的 설계를 목표로 한다. 『세종 한국어』의 멀티미디어 자료 개발의 成果를 고찰하여 그 代案을 다음과 같이 제시하였다. 첫째, 영어나 중국어 등 多數가 사용하는 媒介語를 통해 자료 이용 방법 및 검색 방법 등을 제공하여 멀티미디어 자료의 活用을 확대시켜야 한다. 둘째, 主題別 멀티미디어 자료의 유형이 제 各各인데 각 단원 및 주제의 특성에 적합한 멀티미디어 자료의 유형을 다양한 방식으로 적합하게 개발하고 자료의 수도 골고루 할 필요가 있다. 셋째, 온라인 교육 상황에서 相對的으로 취약한 쓰기 교육에 좀 더 관심을 기울여 학습자들의 쓰기 활동에 흥미를 유발하고 동기 유발을 돕는 쓰기 자료의 개발이 필요하다. 넷째, 동영상 자료의 개발 및 인터넷 활용 기반 환경의 造成을 위해 여러 가지 기술적 대안을 마련하는 노력이 필요하다.
This research has purpose to examine the multimedia resources for Korean language education developed by King Sejong Institute of The National Institute of the Korean Language and to suggest macroscopic view of the future tasks. In this study the digital resources, which includes presentation, explanation, practice, were classified into 6 categories such as pictures, photographs, cartoons, animations, audio and video recordings according to how the digital resources center of the website categorized; then each category was analyzed according to their attributes. As considering the result of development of multimedia data for Sejong Hangugeo, a few suggestions for further developing multimedia resources of Korean language education are as follows. First, although it is impossible to expand the website to cover each and every language the students would use, at least the method of using and searching data should be provided in English or Chinese as mediating languages which majority of students of Korean language would use or understand. Second, since the types of multimedia resources vary topic from topic, the numbers and the types of multimedia contents should be developed evenly across the nature of each topic. Third, as education of writing Korean is relatively fragile area compared to other fields in online educational situation, writing materials should be developed to be more interesting and motivational for students. Fourth, technological alternatives for developing different formats of video recordings and constructing better internet utilization based situation should be prepared.
