『아이들 보이』는 신문관에서 발행된 어린이 잡지 가운데 하나다. 최남선과 신문관은 정기 간행물 사업에 역점을 기울였는데, 『소년』이 폐간된 뒤 『청춘』이 창간될 때까지어린이 잡지 발행에 주력했다. 1913년 9월에 창간된 『아이들 보이』는 1914년 10월에 통권13호를 끝으로 폐간되었다. 이 연구는 지금까지 알려지지 않은 『아이들 보이』 13호를 공개하여 발행 사항을 바로잡고 특징을 검토하였다. 『아이들 보이』 폐간호는 종합 교양 월간지 『청춘』의 창간호와 동시에 발행되었다는 점에서 주목할 가치가 있다. 또한 『아이들 보이』의 전반적인 자료 실태를 점검하고 총 목차를 정리했다. 마지막으로 후속 연구에서쟁점으로 삼아야 할 두 가지 과제를 제시했다.
“A-i-deul Bo-i” is one of the children’s magazines of Sin-mun-gwan. Choe Nam-seon had issued periodicals at Sin-mun-gwan, a publishing firm with its own printing plant. Three children’s magazines of Sin-mun-gwan were first issued in 1913. Especially “A-i-deul Bo-i” had been monthly issued from September 1913 until October 1914. It had ceased with No. 13. Just at that time “Cheong-chun” were issued its first number. The purpose of this thesis is to report the final number of “A-i-deul Bo-i” and examine peculiarities of it. In addition,the complete table of contents of “A-i-deul Bo-i” is fully presented. And then two points for follow-up research are suggested.
