본 논문은 진단도구로서 사용되고 있는 풍경구성기법(LMT)에 관한 기초적ㆍ이론적 연구이다. 연구의 목적은 LMT의 의미와 구조를 고찰하여 LMT에 대한 정확한 이해를 도모하고, LMT의 의의와 독자성을 밝히는 것이다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, LMT의 창안경위와 목적, 특성, 절차를 고찰하는 가운데, LMT는 하나의 투사기법으로서 심리치료에서 진단적ㆍ치료적 가치가 있음을 해명하였고, LMT의 시행절차에서 가장 중요한 것은 치료자의 참여관찰 및 치료자와 내담자 사이의 상호작용이며, 여기에 LMT의 의의가 있음을 해명하였다. 둘째, LMT의 구조적 특징을 고찰하는 가운데, 테두리 그리기와 요소의 순차적 제시에는 내담자의 표현을 보호하고 강요한다는 이중성이 함축되어 있음을 해명하였고, LMT의 요소 읽기에 대한 기본관점 및 요소의 상징적 읽기와 구성과정의 읽기라는 작품해석의 관점을 제시하는 가운데 LMT의 독자성을 해명하였다.
This is a basic and theoretical study on the landscape montage technique used as a diagnostic tool. The purpose of this study is to understand and find out the value and originality of the landscape montage technique by examining the meaning and structure of it. The below is the outcome of this study. First, after the close examination on the circumstances, purpose, traits, and process of the creation of landscape montage technique, it was proved that the technique as a projective one has diagnostic and therapeutic values; the most important process of this technique is the participant observation by therapist and the interactions between therapist and client, which is the very value of the landscape montage technique. Second, by considering the structural traits of the landscape montage technique, I made a conclusion that a client has the feeling of both protection and compulsion when he or she is given fence drawing and sequential suggestion of items; While suggesting the basic perspective on the item-reading of the landscape montage technique and analytic perspectives such as a symbolic reading of items and a reading of composition process, I proved the originality of the landscape montage technique.
