본 연구의 목적은 지적장애청소년의 진로탐색집단미술치료 프로그램을 개발하고, 효과를 검증하는 것이었다. 프로그램의 효과는 프로그램 과정에서의 진로성숙도 변화와 진로성숙도 척도를 사전, 사후, 추후에 실시하여,반복측정분산분석으로 검증하였다. 연구대상은 지적장애청소년으로 실험집단 8명, 통제집단 8명이었고, 프로그램은 매주 3회 80분씩, 총 16회기 실시되었다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 지적장애청소년의 진로탐색 집단미술치료 프로그램이 개발되었다. 진로탐색, 지적장애청소년의 직업특성, 진로탐색관련프로그램, 및 미술치료와관련된 문헌의 제한점, 요구도 조사 및 전문가 토의를 기초로 예비프로그램을 구성하였다. 예비프로그램을실시하고, 수정하였다. 둘째, 진로탐색집단미술치료 프로그램은 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 회기진행 과정에서 진로성숙도 향상을 볼 수 있었다. 또한 진로성숙도의 점수가 실험집단에서 유의미하게 향상되었으며, 그 효과가 지속되었다.


The purpose of this study was to develop career exploration group art therapy program for adolescentwith mental retardation and to verify the effect. The change of career maturity during the sessions and thescores of the inventory on career maturity were used to verify the program. With the inventory, pre-test,post-test, and follow-up-test were executed and ANOVA with repeated measures was conducted. Thesubjects were 8 adolescents in an experimental group and 8 adolescents in a control group. There were 16sessions, each lasting 60 minute. Program was conducted three times a week. The results were as follows. First, program was developed. The limitations of precedent studies on career characteristics, careerexploration, and art therapy for adolescents with mental retardation, needs survey, and face validity ofexperts led to development of preliminary program. Preliminary program was conducted & supplemented. Second, the effect of program was verified. There were positive changes of career maturity during thesessions. Also there were significant changes in career maturity scores in the experimental group. The post-test scores were higher than pre-test scores. The follow-up-test scores demonstrated that the post-testscores maintained.
