사상(事象)에 대한 관심은 곧 인간에 대한 세계관의 표현이므로 고시조를 해석할 때 작가 개인사적으로도 함께 보아야 작품의 의미를 정확하게 파악할 수 있다. 본고는 오우가에 나타난 자연을 작가 개인의 맥락적 정보와 함께 고려하여 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 분석 결과 오우가에 나타난 자연은 시적 상황 즉 맥락에 따라 다르게 의미가 부여되었으며, 윤선도가 되고 싶은 인간형이 아니라 화자 자신은 배제되고 좋아하는 친구의 모습을 자연을 통해 비유한 것임 확인할 수 있었다.
The purpose of this paper is to explore the text on the basis of previous research on Owooga and to reconstruct it as an educational material for teaching Sijo. Youn Sun-do left plethora of works while living in exile and communing with nature. Because of this, most of his works have been classified into the poems of nature unity. As a result of reexamination of Owooga based on previous research, it is shown that the nature represented in Owooga is not the subject of nature unity or the idealistic nature that Youn thought but what compares concerns about human problems to nature. In conclusion, Owooga is not the nature-friendly work but the story of true friends using nature.
