This study aims at looking over staged transition and characteristics of sacrificial rites related agriculture and sericulture from King Sŏngjong to King Jungjong. Generally, The kings of early Chosŏn dynasty seek symbol of national sacrificial rituals from royal ancestor-sacred rites of Jongmyo, Royal ancestors' shrine, Munsojeon, the Royal's private Ancestral Shrine, a Royal mausoleum, and so on,However, In the course of emphasising Ruling based upon King's Moral Doings, the sacrificial rites related the people´s livelihood was watched. Take advantage of this, King Sŏngjong and King Jungjong pretend to king of practical mind of Ruling based upon King's Moral Doings. But there are differences between the two. King Sŏngjong and practices ancestor worship about Sajik,gods for the soil and grain, Sŏnnong, god of agriculture and Sŏnjam, god of silk. After this, he played Gunggyeongrye, rite of agricultural display. In the process of rites, the festival including the king and his people is held. However, when Yŏnsan’gun, the eldest son of King Sŏngjong,was on the throne, it is come to a crisis. He abrogate sacrificial rites for annoying merely. The situation took a turn for the better for Jungjong Coup D'etat. The sacrificial rites returned to Sŏngjong Age. Later, King Jungjong Pursue new ritual ceremonies for political purpose,and then praying for rain is chosen. He pretend to ideal Confucian monarch sharing anxiety of the nation about poor harvest through praying for rain personally.
