Lee, Sang-Ho. 2007. A Humane Studies of Crisis & Humane Studies of Opportunity - A Focusing of Critical Introspection. This thesis has been written to clarify the Cause relative to the Crisis of The Humanities, and also for the purpose to grope after the alternative proposal. In order to perform this purpose, after I have contemplated the problem with regard to the Modernity and the Crisis of The Humanities on the critical standpoint at first, thence I introspected an alternative plan to overcome the Crisis of The Humanities. Through this discussion, I have cleared up the reason why The Humanities should be still existed as the important Learning as ever, even nowadays.As the result, even though some extent of the change in paradigm of learning would be recognized, the humane scholars should not forget the essence of The Humanity Study that pursues ‘Intelligence, Virtue, Beauty’, the ultimate value for which human-beings should eternally move toward. By going on such way, it coincides with the identity as well as the fundamental spirit of The Humanity Study that fostering the Universal Freeman and the Critical Intellectual, and also the possibility to coexist with both The Humanity Study and its Product becomes heighten. So that, in the occasion when it reaches here, the pure Humanity would be filled first prior to the Product. As the matter of fact, such standpoint is possible to be an obstacle factor in the road to Commercialization - Security of Popularity, if even the humane scholars abandon such efforts, the future of human-being could be drowned into the labyrinth permanently. Thereupon, this thesis-writer hereby considers that The Humanity Study today is not at the crisis, but it arrived to the time-point that rather enables to meet with the new Opportunity.
