This paper is studied on <Crown Prince of Ryookyoo(琉球)>tales. Those stories were introduced in 1751, recording in『Taekrijee(擇里志)』; a book of human geography in the Yi-Dynasty. After that, those stories were transmitted to『Peeseorok(避暑錄)』(1780) written by Jiwon Park(朴趾源) &『Danryangpaesa(丹良稗史)』(about1800) written by Ryeo Kim(金鑢). Subsequently they were transmitted to the books of unofficial historical stories, as『Keemoonchonghwa(紀聞叢話)』,『Kyeseoyadam(溪西野談)』,『Cheongguchonghwa(靑丘叢話)』,『Cheongyadamsoo(靑野談藪)』 etc., they appeared from 19C to 20C. <Crown Prince of Ryookyoo> tales are based on some historical facts ; they were scrappy recorded in『The Diary of Kwanghaegoon(光海君日記)』 &『The true record of the Injo Dynasty(仁祖實錄)』. But the accident was getting killed the Crown Prince of next door country, was a sensitive case diplomatically. Therefore, whore affair didn't revealed in historical documents. I attempted reconstruction from scrappy records & some conditions. The result is a murder, it was brought out from local government officials's greed of property. 140 years from the incident, the material of『Taekrijee』, recorded story form firstly, was added literary embellishment. So the death of Crown Prince of Ryookyoo was described more tragically. 50 years hence from that time, Ryeo Kim appeared, who was an excellent writter of fictional biography. He raised the literary standard of that tale. Comparatively speaking the actual incident & literary tale, historical records are possible straining intrinsic of the incident. On the other hand, I confirmed historical truths are able to keep accordingly literary equipment in literary works.
