This thesis is a study on style criticism of Korean successive generations. The object of thesis is to study the unfolding aspect and the critic’s idea in style criticism. The text is sihwajib of Goryeo and Choson Dynasty period. In the unfolding aspect, the writer is taking a serious view of the comparison between many styles and explanation about style. The comparison between many styles classified two kinds. The one is recognition of characters between many styles. The other is decision of superiority and inferiority between many styles. The explanation about style classified a short comment and a description. In a critic's idea in style criticism, the writer studied a critic's idea about a text and regulating a history of poetry.
