This study investigated processes of Korea independence army(大韓獨立軍)’s organization and foundation stage by stage. Hong Bum-do(洪範圖) make preparations for independence war based on 21blood brother’s alliance(21義兄弟同盟) and association of a former loyal troops Resistance to Japan. Hong Bum-do start to change into Independence army when he founded Independence military authorities(獨立軍部) with Lee, Dong-whui(李東輝) in March, 1919 which was upsurge independence movement by March First Independence Movement. Independence military authorities was independence army’s organization which was combined Hong Bum-do(洪範圖)’s soldier in Da-A-Jea-Gol and Lee, Dong-whui’s group. He leave Independence military authorities and make a tour of North KanDo(北間島) with 30 soldiers in September, 1919. And he could organized Righteous military corps(義軍團) of 300 soldiers when death band based Buk-Il school(北一學ｷ校) and Righteous People’s Corps(義民團) group joined. Then independence army of Hong Bum-do acquires a reputation for being on a winning streak at entry operation of Korea. Furthermore, more powerful Military Directorate(軍務都督府^)was formed by joining group of Dong-Rim military academy(東林武官學校) which based on Nazagu. After that he established Korea Independence Army(大韓獨立軍)which composed 400 soldier as supporting of Korean National Association (Manchuria)(大韓國民會). Korea Independence Army of Hong Bum-do(洪範圖) actively participate in unification of independence army organization while they tried to start entry operation of Korea. First fruition was Headquarters of Korean Military Command in North Jiandao(大韓北路督軍府ﾊ) for establishment which was unification organization of Military Directorate and Korean National Army. That leads victory of Battle of Fengwudong(鳳梧洞戰鬪) through unification of 3 independence army organization. Unification of independence army organization keeps on continuing after Battle of Fengwudong. However, unification movement could not keep on continuing because of Frictions of Korean National Association (Manchuria) with Headquarters of the North Route Army(北路軍政署) and Headquarters of Korean Military Command in North Jiandao. In this condition, Headquarters of Korean Military Command in North Jiandao was demobilized. Nevertheless, Hong Bum-do(洪範圖) led Korea Independence Army to foot of Mt. Baekdu. That was planning to prepare for fierce battle against Japanese army.
