이 글은 논술이 요구하는 비판적 사고가 작문 교육의 틀 안에서 이루어져야 한다는 것을 밝히는 데 목적이 있다. 이 글의 논점은 다음과 같이 정리할 수 있다. 첫째, 비판적 사고의 제고에 중점을 둔 최근의 논술 교육 담론이 보이는 작문에 대한 편향된 인식 태도를 드러내고자 했다. 둘째, 비판적 사고와 작문 능력은 동어반복의 관계에 있음을 밝힘으로써 논술 교육이 작문 교육의 틀 안에 통합되어야 할 이론적 근거를 확인하고자 했다. 셋째, 작문 교육 과정에 수사학을 도입함으로써 비판적 사고를 작문 교육의 틀 속에 통합할 수 있는 가능성을 제시하고자 하였다.
An Essay on the Establishment about Relationship between Essay Type Statement and Writing EducationKim, Byeong-gooThis thesis intends to clarify that the critical thinking in the essay type statement must be performed in the frame of writing education. The main points of this thesis are as follows.First, the latest discourse about essay type statement shows a tendency toward the improvement of critical thinking.Second, I intend to make clear that there is the similar repetition between critical thinking and writing ability. So I confirm the theoretical basis that the education about essay type statement must be united into the frame of writing education.Third, It is possible that the critical thinking can be united in the frame of writing education, if the rhetoric is imported in the process of writing education.
