매체 언어 교육을 위한 교육과정 개발 방향-선택 과목을 중심으로-최미숙 이 논문은 2007년 2월에 개정 고시한 국어과 교육과정에서 새롭게 고등학교 선택 과목으로 신설된 ‘매체 언어’ 과목의 교육과정 개발 방향에 대한 연구다. 무엇을 초점으로 하여 ‘매체 언어’ 교육과정을 개발해야 하며, 개발 과정에서 고려해야 하는 사항은 무엇인지 등을 중심으로 하여 논의하였다.매체 언어 교육과정을 개발할 때 고려해야 할 사항으로 다음 다섯 가지를 들 수 있다. 우선 매체 활용에 머물지 말고 매체 언어 교육을 지향해야 한다. 둘째, 매체 텍스트에 대한 비판적 읽기 능력뿐만 아니라 표현 능력 또한 강조할 필요가 있다. 셋째, 매체 언어로 표현한 의미 구성물인 매체 텍스트와 매체 문화를 향유하고 성찰하는 능력을 강조할 필요가 있다. 넷째, 매체 언어를 통해 이루어지는 문화의 관점을 강조할 필요가 있다. 다섯째, 매체 언어가 우리 사회, 그리고 대중 문화와 어떤 관계를 맺고 있는지, 나아가 인간과 어떤 관계를 맺고 있으며 인간 관계를 어떻게 변화시켰고, 또 변화시킬 수 있는 것인지에 대한 물음과 성찰을 중요하게 다룰 필요가 있다. 이러한 교육과정 개발 방향을 바탕으로 매체 언어 교육의 내용 범주로 ‘매체 언어의 성격’, ‘매체 언어와 사회문화’, ‘매체 언어의 수용과 생산’, ‘매체 언어 교육을 위한 자료 유형’을 제시하고 내용 범주별로 어떤 내용을 다루어야 하는지 논의하였다.
The Direction of Curriculum Development for Media language education-focus on the Elective Subjects-Choi, Mee-sookThis thesis discusses the direction of curriculum development for ‘media language’ subject. Developing the curriculum for ‘media language’ subject, we need to concider the followings.First, media language education must not aim at education for use of media but for ‘media language’Second, it is necessary that we emphasize not only the critical reading of media text.but also the expression of media text.Third, it is important that we have ability to enjoy and reflect media text. And Fourth, it is important to grasp relation between the media language and societyculture.And this thesis discusses four-terms as categories of contents for media language education.：‘quality of media language’ ‘media language and societyculture’ ‘reception and production of media language’ ‘text types for media language education’
