วัฒนธรรมการศึกษาของมหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ วิทยาเขตบางเขน และ มหาวิทยาลัยฮันกุกภาษาและกิจการต่างประเทศมีลักษณะที่เหมือนกันและ แตกต่างกัน ลักษณะที่เหมือนกัน คือ ระบบการคัดเลือกนักศึกษาและมีระบบการ จัดการศึกษาแบบทวิภาค ลักษณะที่ต่างกันคือวัฒนธรรมด้านการศึกษาของ มหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์มีกิจกรรมที่เชื่อมโยงมาจากวัฒนธรรมไทย สร้าง ความจงรักภักดีต่อสถาบันพระมหากษัตริย์ สร้างเคารพต่อครูอาจารย์ สร้างความ รักต่อสถาบันการศึกษา และสร้างการเรียนรู้ที่หลากหลายสาขา ส่วนวัฒนธรรม การศึกษาของมหาวิทยาลัยฮันกุกภาษาและกิจกรรมต่างประเทศไม่เน้นกิจกรรม มากนัก แต่เน้นการจัดศึกษาให้นักศึกษามีความรู้มากที่สุดและจริงจังกับการเรียน การสอนในชัน้ เรียน เน้นให้นักศึกษาเป็ นผู้นำ คิดเองได้ ทำเองได้ ภายใต้กรอบ ความรักและเคารพในสถาบันการศึกษาของตนเองเช่นเดียวกัน
Both Thailand and Korea have strong aspirations to higher education, and this circumstance leads to the present research assumption that there should be both similarities and differences between these two contries in educational culture, environment etc. Therefore, this research examines these issues at Kasetsart University, Thailand, and Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, Korea, with the focus of the following 6 aspects: 1. Admission of new students; 2. Welcome activities for freshmen; 3. Activities on Teacher's Day; 4. Student costumes; 5. School system at the university; 6. Graduation ceremony. The results demonstrate that Thailand and Korea have several similarities, such as commonalities in semester divisions and preference for the selection of superior students. However, the activities in the Kasetsart University were more related to Thai culture such as Buddhism and respect for the sovereign. Meanwhile, the Hankuk University of Foreign Studies places more emphasis on students’ freedom and providing major-related knowledge.
