The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of the elementary science class utilizing graphic organizers on the science achievement, process skills and learning motivation of students. For this purpose, a total 45 elementary students of two classes of 5th graders, one as control and another as experimental groups, were selected. In the control group, traditional textbook-based instruction was implemented and in the experimental group, the elementary science class utilizing graphic organizers was implemented respectively. The findings of this study was that the elementary science class utilizing graphic organizers improved students' science achievement, science process skills and learning motivation significantly .
