친환경적인 발전과 환경보존은 세계적으로 국제기구와 많은 국가들의 지향하고 있는 공통의 하나의 목표이다. 한국정부는 지속가능한 녹색성장을 위해 녹색성장전략을 발표하였고 최근 정부의 지원을 확대함으로써 연안해운을 활성화하기 위해 노력하고 있다. 그러나 그 지원수준이 아직까지는 저조한 연안해운 업계에 활기를 불어넣기에는 미비한 수준이며 낮은 수송분담률, 인력공급의 부재, 선박의 노후성, 운송수단으로서의 효율성 미비와 같은 연안해운의 문제점을 근본적으로 해결하기 위한 방안이 마련되어야 한다. 본 논문의 목적은 한국 연안해운의 현황과 문제점을 연구함으로써 연안해운의 녹색물류화 방안을 제시함으로써 한국의 녹색물류의 실현에 기여하는 것이다.
Eco-friendly development and environment preservation is a pursuing common goal of global organization and many countries in the world. Korea government published its Green Growth Strategy for a sustainable green growth and these-days it is trying to improve coastal shipping by expanding government's support. However, a degree of support is still too low to vitalize inactive coast shipping industry and essential steps have to be taken to resolve coast shipping's problems such as low modal share rate, lacking supply of manpower, decrepit ships, inefficiency as a transportation mode. The purpose of this paper is to contribute to the realization of green logistics in Korea by providing ways for greening of the coast shipping logistics through a study on Korean coast shipping situation and some problems.
