This study seeks to explore the effect of the family friendly corporate culture, which has emerged as the new means for employees to balance between work and family, on the performance of the human resources. To this end, the analysis focused on the mediation effect of work-family conflicts as well as the direct effect of the sub-factors of the family friendly corporate culture (i.e., utilization of family friendly policies, corporate culture and support from the boss) on career and organization commitment - the performance of human resources. The survey was on 271 employees (married, from double income families) who raise infants and children and reside in the Seoul/Gyeonggi metropolitan area. The descriptive statistical analysis was performed via SPSS 17.0 program and the statistical analysis on the structural equation model was conducted via Amos 7.0 program. The result was as follows:First, it was found that the sub-factors of the family friendly corporate culture such as corporate culture and support from the boss had a direct effect on work-family conflicts. Second, it was found that the sub-factors of the family friendly corporate culture such as the utilization of the family friendly policies and support from the boss had a direct effect on the performance of the human resources. Third, it was found that the work-family conflicts had a direct effect on the performance of the human resources: the higher the work-family conflicts were, the less career commitment was shown among the employees.
