이 연구는 교육행정학 연구에서 미시정치적 접근의 주요개념과 연구동향을 탐색하기 위한 연구이다. 미시정치적 접근은 학교조직에 대한 전통적․합리적 모형의 대안적 관점으로 출발하였으며, 학교구성원들간의 민감하고 역동적인 미시정치적 상호작용을 탐구함으로써, 학교 조직생활의 실제를 이해하는데 도움을 주는 접근방법이다. 미시정치적 접근의 주요개념은 갈등, 권력, 이해관계, 이해관계집단․연합, 통제 등이 있다. 교육행정학 연구에서의 미시정치적 접근은 교장과 교사들과의 미시정치적 상호작용 연구로부터 시작하여, 동료 교사들간의 미시정치적 상호작용 연구, 교사와 학생들과의 미시정치적 상호작용 연구 등으로 연구의 주제가 확대되고 있다. 앞으로 교육행정학 연구에서 미시정치적 접근은 학교 조직생활의 다양한 측면을 연구하는데 유용하게 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
The purpose of this study was to explore concept, construct, and the trends of micropolitical approach in the study of educational administration. Micropolitical approach represents an alternative departure from traditional-rational approach to organization, it is a very useful approach to understand realities of organizational life in schools by which we examine sensitive and dynamic interaction among school participants. Micropolitics of education refers to use formal power and informal influence by individuals and groups such as administrators, teachers, students, and parents to further their personal and professional interests in organization. The constructs of micropolitics consist of conflict, power, interests, interest groups, coalitions, and control. Micropolitics of education has mostly focused on the study of micropolitical relationships between principals and teachers. Recently the realm is expanding into the study of collegial relationships among teachers, the study of teacher - student classroom interaction. Micropolitical approach in the study of educational administration is very useful to study to complex sides of organizational life in schools and will be able to contribute to illuminate the neglected domain in educational administration by this time.
