본 연구는 사립대학을 대상으로 경영효율성을 DEA 기법을 활용하여 분석하였다. 경영효율성 분석 대상으로 충원, 취업, 연구로 구분하여 분석하였으며 이를 모두 합친 종합효율성을 분석하였다. 분석결과 효율성을 높이기 위해서는 충원과 취업에서는 투입부분을 감소하여야 하지만 연구에서는 산출부분을 증가시켜야 하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 분석과 함께 대학의 특성을 다양한 형태로 구분하여 토빗회귀분석을 수행하였으며 DEA 정보를 활용한 벤치마킹의 전략도 제시하고 있다.
This study analyses the efficiency of private university in korea. Using data envelop analysis method, this study provides that most university have efficient in their general efficiency. But in recruitment, job attainment and research efficiency, the university appear to be less efficient. Especially, universities have to decrease input parts in order to increase recruitment, job attainment efficiency while increase output parts to increase research efficiency. In addition DEA, this study look into efficiency according to university's characteristic using tobit regression analysis.
