본 연구는 신설 교직실무 과목의 교육내용을 정립하기 위하여 중등학교 현직교사의 요구를 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 교직과목으로서 교직실무 과목의 정체성 확립을 위한 쟁점을 살펴보았고, 교직실무 과목의 강의 교재와 교사 직무의 내용에 관한 연구를 기초로 교직실무 과목에서 다루어야 할 교육내용을 이론적으로 도출하였으며, 이를 토대로 현직교사 요구분석을 위한 설문지를 구성하였다. 연구 결과, 교직실무 과목의 교육내용에 대한 현직교사의 전반적인 요구 수준은 높았으며, 특히 학생의 교육활동과 직접적으로 관련되는 수업영역과 생활지도 및 학급경영영역을 학생 관련성이 상대적으로 낮은 학교행정영역과 교직기초영역보다 우선시하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 결과를 바탕으로, 교직실무 과목의 교육내용 구성, 수업영역 포함 여부, 특별히 강조되어야 할 영역, 행정업무영역 강조 수준 등을 중심으로 논의하였고, 교직실무 과목의 운영상의 발전 과제로 교수요목(실러버스) 개발, 다양한 교육방법 개발, 과목 개설 시기 조정 등이 필요함을 제안하였다.
This study aims to analyze the need of secondary in-service teachers on setting up the contents of teaching profession practice course, which is a newly organized teaching professing course. For this, the issues for establishing the identity of teaching profession practice course as a teaching profession course were examined, and the educational contents to be managed in the teaching profession practice course were theoretically drawn based on the textbooks for course materials on teaching profession practices and the study regarding teachers’ duty contents, and based on such composed questionnaire for analyze the need of secondary in-service teachers. As a result of study, the need level of in-service teachers to the contents of teaching profession practice course was high, and particularly it was indicated to prioritize teaching field, life direction field and class management field directly related to educational activities for students than school administration field and teaching profession basics field a relatively low on the relationship for students. Based on such result, this study discussed around the construction of educational contents, whether to include teaching field or not, particularly fields to be emphasized and level of emphasis of administration affairs in the teaching profession practice course, and suggested that development of Syllabus, development of various educational methods and adjustment of subject opening time are required.
